I used to run into Elle in the back carpark (before they took the tap away, in the olden days) and she would be sitting in the back of her silver Subaru Impreza wth the mag wheels, changing the fins on her board, full of big grommet energy, and she hasn’t changed - different car but also with mags - one of my favourite surfers and an absolute lion hearted human. Quarterly report: having a nice life, the shareholders are happy, worked with a bevy of excellent creative humans and a duck on a cool project, did some kick-outs, did some boardrider things, surfed some green waves in a maroon wetsuit (thanks for the pics @mrsspoy), was stoked for the girls getting the surf tag win, talked to a tall gentleman who knows a bit about fins, and (behind the scenes) watched my daughters step further into being women and met my beautiful friends’ baby.
