About
Hi, I’m Kirsty. I’m an award-winning author, based in Australia. I’m currently working on the screenplay for the film adapation of my novel Raw Blue.
Each year I speak to thousands of students, making creative writing accessible and intuitive. You can find out more on booking me for a school visit here. I also post information on upcoming workshops (online and face-to-face) for students and writers here.
As much as I’m a writer, I’m a surfer. It’s a daily ritual for me, one that’s given me the most important things in my life.
"One of those kept-me-up-all-night novels that stays in your bones and sings in your ears long after you've finished it. The images crackle, the lines are full of poetry, the story is searing, gutting, beautiful."
JULIA LAWRINSON
Stories, surfing, creative performance, what I'm working on, writing workshops - these are the things I talk about in my New Moon Newsletter

"Kirsty Eagar's marvellous cast of characters are as flawed as they are endearing, and it's impossible to get to the end without wishing they were your friends . . . Steamy, sexy and gorgeously written."
