I'm in the Daily Telegraph today. Thanks heaps to Chris Hawken (@kelly_hawken) for the heads up. And thanks heaps to my surf mates who acted interested and didn't make snoring noises when I told them. Fiona Purdon, the journo, was amazing – she reads a lot of YA and knows her stuff. She's also the consummate professional because we conducted part of the interview while she was being evacuated in a drill and she never missed a beat. Anyway I am happy because my tradie mates like the Tele so now I've got cred. (Thanks big time to @furry_jen for being the editor who deserves all the holy fuqs, and @beachside_bookshop from whom I have nicked the photo, but I will make it up to her at her launch party this Thurs – nudge!) #summerskin @allenandunwin #loveOzYA #escapedeconomist #nafiction #dailytelegraph #dailytelegraphsydney #yafiction #aussieromance #northernbeaches #newadult #newadultbooks #aussieya

I acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which I work and live, and pay my respects to them, their culture and to Elders past, present and emerging.
